The Dunedin Perinatal Adjustment Programme (PPNAP) is a maternal mental health support service available for parents.
Our passion and purpose is to support women and their whānau who are adjusting to parenting and/or experiencing mild to moderate distress/depression and/or anxiety in the perinatal period.
PPNAP offers a free short term service providing assessment, intervention and education and linking with community based services. Support is provided by an assessment in the home with follow-up support via home visit or telephone.
Families can ask their midwife, GP or Well Child Tamariki Ora provider for a referral to the Perinatal Adjustment Programme. Self-referrals are also welcome.
